[EN] In March, part of the consulting team of the EDP New – S317 Consulting – Calden Consultoria Consultoría Consortium participated in working meetings in Lima with the team of the Directorate of Energy Efficiency of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Ministerio de Energía y Minas) , as part of the progress of the development of the Roadmap for the Production and Use of Green Hydrogen in Peru.

During some days, the international consultants of the consortium were able to exchange criteria and show the evolution of the study to the MINEM counterpart, determine common perspectives, reconcile information and expectations, and evaluate the next steps of the study, which still has some months ahead. The enthusiasm for the final conclusions to be useful for the Peruvian State pushes us to continue working with determination in the next activities contemplated in our schedule.

This work is being carried out thanks to the support of the Inter-American Development Bank , as part of a strategic effort to drive Peru’s economic and energy growth towards a low-emission future, and in line with the global trend towards green

[ES] Durante el mes de marzo, parte del equipo consultor del Consorcio EDP New – S317 Consulting – Calden Consultoria Consultoría participó de reuniones de trabajo en Lima con el equipo de la Dirección de Eficiencia Energética del Ministerio de Energía y Minas, como parte del avance del desarrollo de la Hoja de Ruta para la Producción y Uso del Hidrógeno Verde en Perú.

Durante algunos días, los consultores internacionales del consorcio pudieron intercambiar criterios y mostrar la evolución del estudio a la contraparte del MINEM, determinar perspectivas comunes, conciliar información y expectativas, y evaluar los siguientes pasos del estudio, que tiene por delante aún algunos meses. El entusiasmo porque las conclusiones finales sean de utilidad para el Estado Peruano, nos empuja a seguir trabajando con determinación en las próximas actividades contempladas en nuestro cronograma.

Este trabajo es realizado gracias al apoyo del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (Inter-American Development Bank) , como parte de un esfuerzo estratégico de impulsar el crecimiento económico y energético del Perú hacia un futuro bajo en emisiones, y en sintonía con la tendencia mundial que apuesta al hidrógeno verde como el motor de desarrollo del futuro.
