Last week Miguel Feliz, our managing partner, was in Ankara, Turkey, presenting the workshop “energy efficiency in public buildings”, as part of The World Bank project “Turkey Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings”. 

The project is being implemented in a consortium that includes S317 Consulting, ESCON Enerji A.Ş., Altensis and Enve Enerji A.Ş. and has two components:

– Component 1. Energy efficiency investments in central government buildings (US$192 million). Under this component, the project supports the renovation of central government and central-government-affiliated buildings (i.e., public buildings under central line ministries, such as schools and hospitals).

– Component 2. Technical assistance and implementation support (US$7.8 million). This component supports the refine of primary and secondary legislation and provide the necessary support for Project implementation to ensure its sustainability and scale-up.
