Included in the Up Skills Week organised by ISEG Sustainability, this edition especially focused on Climate Change and Sustainable Development Goals.
Inês Rocha and Tiago Alves, part of the S317 team, were invited to talk about Carbon Markets, the way these mechanisms work and what can be expected for them in the near future globally.
With the recent launch of the Legal Framework for the Voluntary Carbon Market in Portugal, which represents a great achievement for Portugal and reveals the commitment to reduce carbon emissions and preserve natural capital as a means of combating climate change, they also talked about what the future prospects for this mechanism in our country might be.
We are very grateful to ISEG for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to its academic community.
